Anniversary Fund Raising

Venue: Imperial Hotel, Russell Square

Once a year, a charity event is held on behalf of Dangme Bihii Akpe targeting a cause in the Dangme District in Ghana. Executives from other associations including Ada Okorli, Noviha etc. and the general public is invited. We are occasionally previledged to have the Ghanaian High Commissioner present. Moneys realised from such events are donoted to respective charities targeted.

Day Trip to Brighton

Date: July or August

Venue: Brighton

Organiser: DBA

The unpredictable weather in England had hindered this trip for two years but will surely come on this time. We hope the summer season turns up alright for us to decide which way to go, July or August. It's a fun day out and all members are invited including friends and relatives. Each member is allowed four other people making a total of five per member. The kpe will provide a coach and respective members will also provide their own food and drinks. No restrictions on costumes and remember to keep Britain tidy by cleaning up afterwards. Everyone is adviced to be on their best behaviour and all other things in moderation.

Bring and share

At the end of each quarter, the members take a break from reality to have a refreshment. Food, drinks and entertainment are all provided by members. It makes a great occassion with members and their families all present and having such a great time.
